On March 27th, 2023, at the Government meeting, members of the Government agreed to propose to the National Assembly to extend the term of electronic Visa (E-visa) from less than 30 days to not exceed 03 months with its entry value for single and multiple times.
E-visa issuance is proposed to be available for citizens of all countries and territories across the word and the Government is assigned to make a specific list of applicable countries and territories;
Proposing to extend the temporary residence term issued at the border gate for people who enter by visa exemption from 15 days to 45 days.
These above policies have been proposed in the General resolutions of the National Assembly in the Fifth meeting in May 2023 to be implemented immediately after being approved, regardless the adjusting, amending the Law entry, exit, transit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam is not completed.
