On November 11th, 2021, the Hanoi People’s Committees issued Official Letter No. 4095/UBND-KGVX on guidance to carry out medical isolation at home for people who had close contacts (F1), whereby:
- Applicable entities:
– Besides those who have had direct contact with F0, other individuals who live in the same house with them and those who directly take care, support F1 will also be isolated with F1 in the same house.
– People who are under concentrated isolation for at least 07 days, whose PCR test results on the 7th day are negative with SARS-CoV-2 may change for home isolation.
- Applicable scope:
– In Hanoi city expects 04 following districts: Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Dong Da, Hai Ba Trung
- Isolation period:
– 14 continuously days from the isolation date.
– For those who have been isolated for 07 days, will continue to isolate at home for 07 days.
- Implementation procedures:
– When people with close contacts (F1) wish to carry out medical isolation at home, they must submit an Application to the Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in their communes, wards, and towns (via the Health Station).
– The Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control of the receiving commune, ward, and town shall send an Appraisal party directly to verify, assess and ensure the requirements for infrastructure of the facilities where the medical isolation takes place as registered (by F1).
– After starting to implement the approved isolation plan, quarantined people will self-monitor their health condition, take periodically disinfect and get samples for the SARS-CoV-2 test collected at least 03 times on the first, the 7th, and 14th day from the date of starting the isolation.
