On June 07th, 2023, Ho Chi Minh social insurance issued Notification No. 2651/TB-BHXH on the payment of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident, and occupational disease insurance from July 1st, 2023, thereby:
1 . The contribution level of compulsory social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident, and occupational disease:
From July 1st, 2023, the highest salary level for payment of compulsory social insurance, occupational accident and occupational disease, and health insurance premium is VND 36,000,000/month.
The highest unemployment insurance premium is 20 times the regional minimum salary:
– Region I’s maximum premium shall be 93,600,000 VND/ month.
– Region II’s maximum premium shall be 83,200,000 VND/ month.
- Voluntary social insurance contributions:
The monthly voluntary social insurance payment income will be chosen by the participants, the lowest level is equal to the poverty line in rural areas of 1,500,000 VND, and the highest is 20 times the base salary of 36,000,000 VND.
