Reduce the centralized isolation period to 14 days for entering foreigners

On July 14th, 2021, The Ministry of Health issued Official Letter No. 5599/BYT-MT on reducing the isolating period, piloting on F1 entities to carry put medical isolation at home, managing the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

Accordingly, reducing the time of medical isolation from 21 days to 14 days for F1 entities and immigrants (except for those entering to work for less than 14 days and other cases in compliance with other regulations of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control and the Ministry of Health), continue to monitor health condition at home/accommodation for the next 14 days.

Strictly implement the management and supervision of isolation, handling, and medical monitoring after the isolation to ensure no cross-infection and disease spread to the community.

Thus, the Ministry of Health has shortened the time of concentrated isolation for foreigners entering.
