On August 26th, 2021, the Government issued Decree No. 80/2021/ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of some Articles of the Law Provision of assistance for Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises, whereby:
- Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises converted from a household business shall be exempted from the license fee for 3 years from the date of the first issuance of the Enterprises registration certificate.
- Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises converted from a household business shall be entitled to receive free consult, guidance on tax administration procedures and policy for 3 years from the date of the first issuance of the Enterprises registration certificate. Provincial People’s Committee appoints The Department of Finance to conduct free consult, guidance on tax administration procedures and policy as regulated in this Decree.
In addition, the Decree also stipulates some technology, information, consulting, and human resource development support for Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises; regulations on interest rate support when borrowing medium and long-term loans to carry out production and business activities for Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises that are innovative startups and engage in the business cluster and value chains.
This Decree takes effect from October 15th, 2021.
