50% reduction in the initial registration fee for domestically manufactured and assembled automobiles from September 1, 2024 to November 30, 2024

On August 29^th, 2024, the Government issued Decree No. 109/2024/ND-CP, accordingly:

From the effective date of the Decree until the end of November 30^th, 2024, the initial registration fee for automobiles, trailers, or semi-trailers pulled by automobiles and vehicles similar to automobiles that are manufactured and assembled domestically shall be 50% of the fee prescribed in Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP dated January 15^th, 2022, of the Government regarding registration fees; the current Resolutions of the People’s Councils or the current Decisions of the Provincial or Municipal People’s Committees on the registration fee rates in the localities.

This Decree takes effect from September 1^st, 2024 to November 30, 2024.
