On September 19, 2023, Vietnam Social Insurance issued Decision No. 1318/QD-BHXH on declaring amended and supplemented administration procedures under Vietnam Social Insurance’s authority
– Register and adjust the contribution of compulsory Social Insurance, Health Insurance, Unemployment Insurance, Insurance for Labor Accidents and Occupational Diseases; issuance of Social Insurance Books and Health Insurance Cards
– Register, re-register, and adjust voluntary Social Insurance contributions; issuance of Social Insurance Books
– Register to contribute and issue Health Insurance Cards for people who only participate in Health Insurance
– Re-issue, change, and adjust the information on Social Insurance Books and Health Insurance Cards
The above administration procedures shall be applied from September 19, 2023. Detailed guidance for these procedures is prescribed in the attached Appendix in this Decision.
This Decision takes effect from the signing date.
