On November 8th, 2021, the Ministry of Health issued Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BYT stipulating the price of SARS-COV-2 testing service, in which the cases subjected to Health insurance’s payment shall be adjusted as follows:
+ The fee for quick SARS-CoV-2 testing shall not exceed 109,700 VND
+ SARS-CoV-2 testing by automatic or semi-automatic immunoassay machine is adjusted so it will not exceed 186,600 VND
+ The fee for SARS-CoV-2 testing by Real-time RT-PCR method is reduced from 734,000 VND to 518,400 VND.
This Circular takes effect from November 10th, 2021.
