The Government Office issued Resolution No. 9895/VPCP-KGVX on the schedule of Lunar New Year and National Day in 2021 holidays of the cadres, civil servants, public employees, and other employees.
In which, for organizations, units with the fixed weekend on Saturday and Sunday, their employees shall take their leaves on the Lunar New Year an National Day in 2021 as follows:
- Lunar New Year 2021: 07 days from February 10th, 2021 to the end of February 16th, 2021 (in which from December 29th to January 5th, 2021 of the Lunar Year);
- National Day: From September 2nd, 2021 to the end of September 5th, 2021.
Organizations, units do not apply the fixed weekend on Saturday and Sunday, they will base on their working schedule and detailed plan to properly arrange holidays for the employees.
From 2021, as prescribed in the Labor Code 2019, the detailed schedule for Tet Holiday will in 05 days and 01 additional day in the previous or next day of the National Day which will be decided by the Prime Minister base on the yearly practical conditions.
