On December 12th, 2020, The National Assembly has approved Resolution No. 128/2020/QH14 on the state budget estimates in 2021 and decided that the basic salary will not be adjusted in 2021. Hence, the basic salary in 2021 will be applied at the level of 1,49 million Vietnam Dong per month.
The basic salary is the basis for calculating the maximum monthly salary for Social Insurance and Health Insurance contribution.
