On March 18th,2020, The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued Official Letter No.245/TLD on rescheduling the union fee contribution for the enterprises that are affected by the impact of Covid-19 epidemic (i.e: enterprises of which the number of employees subjected to social insurance contribution temporarily suspend working is 50% or more). Accordingly, they are allowed to reschedule the contribution of union fee for the first 6 months of 2020, up to June 30th,2020.
In case that COVID-19 pandemic has not been alleviated by the end of June 2020 and the enterprises still have difficulties in business and/or employment, the contribution shall be delayed to December 31st, 2020.
