On October 7, 2019, the Government Office issued Official Letter No. 9087/VPCP-KGVX on the Lunar New Year holiday of 2020 for cadres, civil servants, officials and employees.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister agreed on a 7-day-holiday plan, proposed in Document No. 54/TTr-LDTBXH dated September 18, 2019 by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, for the Lunar New Year in 2020, starting from January 23, 2020 to the end of January 29, 2020.
Agencies and units that do not take weekly Saturday and Sunday fixed holidays will base on their specific programs and plans to arrange vacation schedule accordingly.
Thus, civil servants, officials and employees in administrative agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations will be entitled to Lunar New Year Holiday according to the aforementioned approved plan.
