The latest draft of the Labor Code dated August 11th, 2019 has added some new points which is notable compared to the previous drafts as follows:
Adjusting working hours
– Option 1: Maintaining working hours as the current Labor Code is “The normal working time does not exceed 8 hours a day and not more than 48 hours a week”.
– Option 2: Reducing the normal working hours “not more than 8 hours a day and not more than 44 hours a week”
Changing probationtime
The latest draft supplements a probation time applying for the job of an enterprise manager is “No more than 180 days for the job of an enterprise manager under the Enterprise Law”.
Adding labor transfer rights to employers
The employer is entitled to temporarily transfer the employee to do another work different from the job described on labor contract for no more than 60 working days in a year without the agreement of employee in written form in the case : “Due to the production and business requirements of the employer, the employer regulates in the enterprise’s internal rules that he/she is temporarily allowed to transfer the employee to do another job compared to the labor contracts”
